Jochen Cerny wurde in Düsseldorf geboren und fand durch seine fotografiebegeisterte Großmutter sowie seinen Vater früh zur Fotografie, erhielt zahlreiche internationale Auszeichnungen wie beim Trierenberg Super Circuit und den Monochrome Awards, stellte in Städten wie HongKong, Paris, London und New York aus und wurde 2020 von der Asian Art Association in Singapur als Kurator berufen.

Jochen Cerny, born in Düsseldorf, discovered his artistic abilities and his passion for photography at a young age. He owes this to both his grandmother, a passionate amateur photographer with an extraordinary feeling for black and white images, and his father, who worked as a marketing consultant with renowned advertising photographers.

Jochen Cerny's works quickly gained recognition in international art circles. He received several international awards in a very short time (including Trierenberg Super Circuit, Monochrome Awards, Viewbug, Foto Forum Magazine) and has shown his pictures in numerous exhibitions in Hong Kong, Laguna Beach, Paris, London, Zurich, Tokyo, New York and numerous places in Germany.

In March 2020, he was appointed curator by the Asian Art Association in Singapore.
