Dorothea Emma Maria Göbel is an established painter from Schweinfurt, represented at the Kunsthalle Schweinfurt and in private collections, whose powerful paintings of bulls embody archaic primal force, courage and assertiveness and fill rooms with energy.

Dorothea Emma Maria Göbel fuses her intense colours and emotions, woven into textures, into wonderfully energetic paintings.
On her creative path she is inspired by the creative and divine powers of the bull.
These powers reflect her concentrated energy, courage, patience, perseverance, drive and assertiveness.
For her creations, the bull is THE absolute power animal.
Born in 1964, she has spent decades building a body of work that has been awarded, among other honours, 1st prize for ‘Kunst am Bau’ (art in architecture) in public space. Acquisitions by the Schweinfurt municipal collections followed. Her works are held by the Kunsthalle as well as in private and public art collections across Europe.
